Order

Order questions allow you to create a question that contains a series of items you would like the participant to rank in order. This question type can be useful for testing participant recollection of chronological data.

Order questions can also be used to arrange words in the correct order to form sentences, for example:

Question

Here you enter the question. Explain what you what the participants to rearrange. Remember to tell the participants in what order the items should be arranged, for example, from smallest to largest.

Answers

The answers must be entered in the correct order. If your question is 'Arrange the following historical figures from oldest to youngest', you must add them as illustrated in the screenshot below, because Leonardo da Vinci is the oldest and Diego Maradona is the youngest.

1. Click on a test.
2. Click the Questions tab.
3. Click Add.
4. Click Order.
5. Enter the question in the first text area.
6. Enter the alternatives in the correct order. If you need more alternatives, click Add answer item.
7. Click Save.

Preview
Before you save a question, itslearning allows you to preview it. To preview the question, click Preview. By clicking the preview link, you can see the question from the participants' perspective. Submit an answer to see how the feedback looks for a correct and incorrect answer. Click the Back link to continue editing the question.

4. Make your changes.
5. Click Save.

4. Click Delete question.
