E-mail accounts

1. Click the Inbox link in the personal menu.
2. Click Messages.
3. In the navigation tree, click E-mail accounts.
4. Click Add e-mail account.
5. Enter information in the following fields:

   Field	Description
   E-mail account type	Select IMAP = "Internet Message Access Protocol." IMAP accounts leaves the mail messages on the e-mail provider's mail server, even if you have downloaded it to your computer.IMAP or POP = "Post Office Protocol". A POP account downloads mail to your local computer by default. Often, when a message is downloaded, it is deleted from your e-mail provider's mail server. This means that the e-mail is removed from the mail server when you have downloaded it to your computer by using mail readers like Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook.POP from the drop-down list. POP and IMAP are two protocols that mail programs use to access mail stored on remote computers or servers. Your e-mail provider knows whether you have an POP or IMAP account.
   Port	Enter the port. On POP accounts the port is most often 110, while on IMAP accounts the port is usually 143.
   Title	Enter a title of you e-mail account. This is a name you can come up with yourself, e.g."Private mail", "Gmail" or similar.
   E-mail address	Enter the e-mail address of the account.
   E-mail server	Enter the your e-mail server. The e-mail server is often on the format "mail.emailprovider.com", "pop.emailprovider.com" or "imap.emailprovider.com".
   Username	Enter the username of your e-mail account.
   Password	Enter the password of your e-mail account.

6. Click Save

When you set an e-mail account as the default account, this account opens automatically when you click the Inboxtab. The internal messages are still there, but you have to click Internal messages in the navigation tree to access them. The default account also counts the new/unread messages in the top menu, but you can forward the internal messages to the e-mail address you have specified in Your settings >> Change details. This prevents you from missing important information. To set an e-mail account as default account:

1. Click the Inbox link in the personal menu.
2. In the navigation tree, click Message settings.
3. In the Default account drop-down list, select the e-mail accounts you want to set as the default account.
4. Click Save.

Tip: If you want to change the default account you repeat the above steps and click Save.
